🔫THE YOUNG GUNS

I love jobs that are written by someone who has clearly worked in the position. This is one. No nonsense or garbage. Good salary, actual role details and hybrid. Anyone coming out of contract and looking for a relatively decent job to escape from audit is loving their life here.

I picked this for the perks and the job spec. Firstly, 12% pension, 10% bonus and 2 days in the office. Wow. This is a classic FP&A role. You may read it and think “I don’t know if I have the skills to do it”. Lucky for you, AI knows how. And you know how to use AI. This is a top job for someone to look at who wants to transition into FP&A.

🐯 THE CROUCHING TIGER

Morgan McKinley knows the craic. Gas man that Morgan. This is a 6 month contract and it’s fully remote. I’d love to know who thought this was a good idea but that’s not your concern because you’re a crouching tiger who knows how to pounce/run these jobs. Decent responsibilities but 100% remote means you can pitch up in Lanzarote and be half in the pool/half running the financial reporting for a multinational tech company. Makes sense to me.

 👴 THE VETERANS

You’re a veteran so you deserve €120k but to get it, you’re going to have to ignore the recruiter briefly. They wrote this:

“Having spoken to the outgoing Head of Finance who has loved his time here over the past three years, this business is in great shape to execute rapid growth over the next three years.”

People are hilarious. Our boy was hardly going to say “sorry lads the place is goosed and I’m off”. It actually makes a reference to work at the weekends too. You’d wonder. Anyway, decent pay, decent bonus and job spec looks decent to me. 3*Decent = Apply. Simple maths.
